12. Brandon Marshall, New York Jets

Brandon Marshall did not have his best year in 2014. He battled injuries and had some bad games. However he still had 8 touchdowns in 13 games. However he didn’t produce the receptions or yards we are used to seeing from him. Marshall only caught 61 passes. He only averaged 55 yards per game. The year before he averaged 80.9. The Chicago Bears were an absolute mess in 2014. Marshall however was traded from the Bears in the off-season and will join the New York Jets. It was the first time since 2010 that Marshall didn’t play a full season. Marshall is 31 years old but I still think that he has a lot of good football left.

The Jets need to work out their Quarterback situation if they want to get the most out of Marshall. The Jets will have to decide on Geno Smith , Ryan Fitzpatrick, or Bryce Petty. Eric Decker will be the Jets number two guy now that Marshall is with the team. It is Decker’s more suited spot. Marshall should fit in as the number one guy.

Brandon Marshall had a monster year in 2013. He had 100 catches , 12 touchdowns , and 1295 yards. The Jets have to get Marshall active in the early going. Marshall is an extremely passionate player and can sometimes get heated. If the Jets can get him involved early and often I think he will be fine. Marshall is one of the most talented guys in the league. This is his fourth team in his career so I don’t expect him to take long. I don’t expect him to have trouble fitting in in New York after playing in Chicago.
