10. Alshon Jeffery, Chicago Bears

Alshon Jeffery becomes the clear-cut number one wide receiver now that Brandon Marshall is in New York. Jeffery is a physical monster. He stands at 6’4″ and weighs 230 pounds. He is just 25 years old and is ready to take over. Jeffery had an increase in touchdowns as he caught 10 as opposed to 7.

Jeffery however had a decrease in catches from 89 to 85. He also had a yardage decrease from 1421 to 1133. This simply can be just because the Bears were not that good. Jay Cutler was extremely inconsistent much like the Bears offense.

I think the Bears offense can’t possibly be as inconsistent as it was last year. Alshon Jeffrey has big play ability and is a tremendous deep threat. Cutler loves to throw the ball down field. He loves to let Jeffrey go up for the ball. Expect a career high in targets for Jeffrey this season which ultimately might mean a career high in catches.
