Quarterback: Eli Manning
It doesn’t matter what anyone says, Manning will be the Giants’ quarterback now and probably for the rest of his career. The fact that the Giants aren’t giving him an extension does not mean he is in danger of anything.
He bounced back in 2013 from having one of the worst seasons of his career to one of the best in 2014. Manning can only get better with the pieces put around him this offseason.
Ryan Nassib is coming into his own though, but he’s nothing dangerous enough to dethrone Manning. That would just be crazy talk.
If Nassib has another good preseason he could eventually be traded or even prove himself to be Manning’s future successor. It’s way to soon to talk about this, but it’s also always good to have a plan.
