Wide Receivers: WR1 Odell Beckham, WR2 Victor Cruz, WR3 Rueben Randle
These tandem of wide receivers looks like it will be fantastic. This is exactly why the Giants will have one of the top offenses in the NFL. By the way it looks, Cruz will come out and reclaim a starting role without an issue.
Cruz won’t come back as the number one receiver, Beckham will obviously take his former role. There is no way Beckham goes in as the number two receiver even if Cruz comes back to full form.
Where the issues lie is choosing the third wide receiver. Randle is highly inconsistent, but when he wants to show up, he shows up. Randle is one of those kinds of players that has flashes of brilliance on occasion. On occasion isn’t going to cut it though.
Randle is in danger of losing his job to many highly touted backup players. I like Corey Washington, Dwyane Harris, and even Geremy Davis to step up and challenge Randle for his role. All of whom could be sleepers on the Giants roster.
