Linebackers: MLB Jon Beason, SLB Devon Kennard, WLB J.T. Thomas
Beason would be in danger of losing his job, but their is no one to challenge him on the roster. He gets hurt way to easily now that he’s in his older age. Most likely this year will be the same as the past two and Beason will just get hurt again.
If Beason returns to his prime form back when the Giants traded for him the Giants linebackers will definitely be above average. Without Beason their could be some serious issues for the linebacker corps.
Kennard will be the next Giants’ defensive superstar. Opposing offenses will fear him. The Giants have been lacking a standout linebacker for years now, but that may change very soon.
J.T. Thomas looks like the best linebacker to play the weak side. He is highly underrated and will prove to be a valuable addition to the roster. Jonathan Caillas will provide Thomas some decent competition, but Thomas will beat him out.
