Victor Cruz Fantasy Projection:

Coming off a knee injury that looked pretty gruesome is a tough thing to do, but that is exactly what Cruz is going to do. Cruz is one of the most impressive receivers in the NFL and his toughness and mental fortitude will prevail in this comeback. Cruz will be a dynamic playmaker for the Giants in 2015.

In 2011 Cruz burst onto the scene with 82 receptions for 1,536 yards and 9 touchdowns. In 2012 he repeated the dominance with 86 receptions and 1,092 yards and 10 touchdowns. He saw a dip in his numbers in 2013 with 73 receptions for 998 yards and 4 touchdowns. What will he do after a 2014 season in which he only played 6 games.

I think Cruz will be the Giants number two option in the offense. He won’t put up the gaudy numbers of Beckham Jr. but he will be a phenomenal playmaker who will take advantage of coverage schemes designed to slow down number 13.

Fantasy Projection: 75 receptions 1,100 yards, 6 touchdowns
