It may not garner the attention of Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning, but Eli Manning and Tony Romo have one of the biggest quarterback rivalries in NFL history. The New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys are bitter rivals and are two of the most historic franchises in all of professional sports. It’s only natural that these two would develop a rivalry for the ages.

Manning has been the victor of two Super Bowl championships, while Romo has brought relevance back to the Cowboys. These are two of the most prolific and iconic quarterbacks of their generation. What makes the rivalry so compelling is how the players compare and contrast.

Both quarterbacks have proven to be the foundation of their respective team. That being said, both have the propensity for throwing bad interceptions, when they feel that it is all on them. When given the help around them both Manning and Romo are surgically proficient. That’s how they are the same. They are drastically different people.

Romo has a loud and charismatic personality. He revels in the attention that comes from wearing a blue star on a silver helmet. Romo is a larger than life kind of man, he plays football with passion and is great with the media. Manning is a calm and stoic field general who never gets too high or too low. Manning is always calm and collected and doesn’t need to be the loudest man in the room. His actions speak much louder than his words and he makes his words count.

The question you all have been waiting for is, who is the better quarterback? Let’s look at this from every possible angle.
