6. Victor Cruz, 2012:

Victor Cruz had his coming out party in 2011. In 2012 Cruz proved that his 2011 season was no fluke. Cruz had 1536 yards and 9 touchdowns. Cruz helped the Giants go on a Super Bowl run in 2011. In 2012 Cruz was named to his first Pro Bowl and established himself as a premier player in the NFL. He made the Salsa Dance his signature touch down move.

In 2012 Cruz was out to prove he was the go to go in Eli Manning’s offense. Cruz had 86 catches. He also had 10 touchdowns. Both are career highs for Cruz. Cruz also had 1092 receiving yards. The fantastic season was good enough for his first Pro Bowl. Cruz’s 2012 season was excellent however it will always be overshadowed by his first.

Cruz backed up his 2011 performance and proved that is was no fluke. The Giants then knew that they had found a great playmaker.
