5. Plaxico Burress, 2007:

Plaxico Burress played four years for the Giants and caught 33 touchdowns. Burress was a huge part of the Giants title run in 2007. Many people believe the Giants could have went back to the Super Bowl in 2008 had Burress not accidentally shot himself.

Burress’s Giants career ended abruptly after the night club incident. Burress had at least 10 touchdowns in two of his four season with the Giants.

In 2007 Plaxico Burress was the main target in the Giants offense. Burress was targeted 141 times yet only caught 70 passes. Burress however had 12 touchdowns. He also had 1025 yards receiving. He averaged 64.1 yards per game. Burress had a huge game in the NFC championship when he had 11 catches on 151 yards. He also had the game winning touchdown in the Super Bowl.
