You heard it here first, Washington is going to be the next Cruz. Similar to Davis, Washington has an opportunity that he just can’t pass up. In the wide receiver competition last year he had a stellar preseason and went unnoticed.

However, if he manages to repeat last years’ preseason performance, he can’t go unnoticed this time around. The Giants’ coaching staff will have no choice but to give him some reps in the starting lineup.

While Davis has a much more rough path to climb, Washington has a foot up on him. All he has to do is beat the rest of his competition. Another year in the Giants’ offense probably did Washington a lot of good this offseason.

It’s still a mystery why he didn’t see more playing time in the first place, but I’m confident that will all come to and end this offseason. Many fans have been trying to advocate their frustration with not seeing the young man take the field. How much longer could the Giants hide him?
