Peter Vitella, Staff Writer Predicts:

The New York Giants made some additions to the team this off-season but also have done some subtraction. The Giants improved the run game , the offensive line , and the defense. Ultimately after having a 6-10 season I think the Giants will be a much better team in 2015. The Giants will be more comfortable in their second year with the new look west coast offense. Eli Manning will be more comfortable in his second year. It took him some time to get going before having an excellent season. Manning will also have his second year with Odell Beckham Jr.

The Giants are hoping their star wide receiver Victor Cruz can come back from a severe knee injury that cost him most of the season. Cruz emerged in 2011 when he had 1536 yards. Cruz played just 6 games and caught 23 passes in 2014. Cruz should benefit from playing with Odell Beckham in 2015. Cruz was always significantly better when playing with another elite receiver. The Giants also added Shane Vereen who can be used as a runner , receiver , and blocker.

The Giants also made some big moves in the NFL draft. The Giants built up  the team with good draft picks. They addressed the offensive line and the defense. I expect the Giants to be a much improved team in 2014. I expect Jason Pierre Paul and Eli Manning to have big seasons. The Giants will go 10-6 in 2015. I believe they will sweep the Redskins and go 2-2 against the Cowboys and Eagles. 10-6 will be good enough for a division title. The Giants can win some off their toughest games also.
