10. Gary Reasons

Gary Reasons seemed to epitomize that generation of linebackers in the National Football League with his style and size. Being drafted in the 4th round of the 1984 draft, Reasons played 8 years with Big Blue and collected 2 world championships in his time span.

In a star-studded group of linebackers that included Lawrence Taylor, Harry Carson and Carl Banks, Reasons was kind of the forgotten man. Even though his resume isn’t full of Pro Bowl or All-Pro selections, that doesn’t mean he lacked an impact on the franchise.

Two plays stick out big-time with Giants fans regarding his career. One, was a 1989 4th and goal stop against John Elway and the Denver Broncos in snowy Mile-High, and the other of course was in the 1990 NFC Championship game against San Francisco where Reasons took a fake punt and turned it into a 30-yard run.
