The first time doing anything is always special. Whether it’s a first kiss or holding the Lombardi trophy, it’s just something you never forget the feeling of.

After 30 years of failing to bring a championship, the team finally won their 1st Super Bowl championship and they did it in style. They completed a 14 win regular season, and completely thumped teams in the postseason.

In all three of their playoff games they won by at least 17 points, including a 39-20 victory in Super Bowl XXI against the Denver Broncos. 1986, also featured one of Lawrence Taylor‘s best season’s as a pro as he took home the NFL’s MVP honors. Dominance from start to finish is what made this season as special as it was.
