I may be biased, but this season had so many story lines that made it one of the greater seasons in team history. All the way from being an undrafted wide receiver Victor Cruz making a name for himself was huge. A 9-7 team that many thought had no shot come playoff time won it all. This season was simply a miracle.

All season long they just seemed mediocre. Their run game was one of the worst in the league, and their defense was at the bottom of the pack with aging veterans. At one point, they even lost 4 consecutive games. 7-7 is where they stood heading into week 16, after an ugly loss to a poor Washington team in week 15.

From there, they didn’t lose a game finishing their season off with a victory in Super Bowl XLVI over the New England Patriots. Yeah, I know every fan reading this knows the outcome and the thrill of that magical season, but why not relive it? What a season 2011 was for the New York Giants.
