8. Chykie Brown

After being claimed off waivers last season from Baltimore, Chykie Brown stepped up and played 8 game for the Giants. In those 8 games, he played a bulk of the snaps at cornerback filling in for a plethora of injured players.

He played quite well for the team, and will be even more crucial this year considering the team’s question mark at the nickel corner position, which is becoming ever more important in today’s NFL. His flexibility to play both the safety and corner position will prove vital for this team when players go down to injury or poor performance.

If Brown can translate his positive play from last year into 2015, this team can have a strong group of cover corners with Prince Amukamara coming back from injury and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie starting opposite to him. You can never have enough corners in this day and age.
