Jenkins is another player who has been under appreciated as a Giant. The 11 year veteran missed some time last season and saw his production fall off a bit. Jenkins stuffs the run very well and has surprising speed getting after the quarterback.
If Jenkins can play the way he did in 2013 the Giants will have another reliable defensive tackle to go along with should be pro bowler Jonathan Hankins.
Jenkins doesn’t need to be an all world tackle nor does he need to be play every snap but he needs to play the kind of football that has kept him in the NFL for over a decade to give the Giants another sturdy option for the middle of the defensive line.
