5. He Will Change The Culture

Something about Steve Spagnuolo just breathes a different life into the New York Giants. His name alone seems to resound in the halls of the New Jersey complex, almost as though he’s a god of some sort. He even goes by the name “Spags,” which breads a sense of comfort-ability with both the fan base and players, with that thick northeastern accent to boot.

Accountability on the defensive side of the football is what this team has lacked for quite sometime, and what Spagnuolo will surely bring back. The most underrated thing in any successful business or organization is creating a strong culture. Sometimes that culture is one in which you can see from a mile away. While, other cultures you need to be firmly entrenched in them to truly understand their values.

I can just tell from body language that Spagnuolo demands a certain respect and performance that Fewell did not. He’s created a culture with sky-high expectations that his players feel comfortable they can reach with him as the orchestrator.
