2. Landon Collins:

When the Giants traded up to get Landon Collins in the second round of the NFL Draft it was a very important move to make. What I love about Collins is how he plays the game of football. He plays fast, he files on the football field recklessly and he is on a mission to blow plays up.

Collins needs to step up because the Giants don’t have a next best option. Sure Mykkele Thompson could play strong safety but Collins is a difference maker that Thompson simply isn’t. Collins will bring physicality to the Giants defense, which after last season is a much breath of fresh air.

Collins needs to make an impact in run defense and against the pass. He needs to be the difference maker he was for the Alabama Crimson Tide for the Giants defense to reach its full potential. The Giants drafted Collins because they knew they needed him. He has to deliver in his rookie season.
