Final Score: 31-14
We move forward on our list and we go to the 2011 season as Manning was entering 2012. On New Year’s day and the final game of the season, Manning delivered a play-off berth. It was a deadlock for the wildcard spot against their arch rivals the Dallas Cowboys and the Giants delivered. The Cowboys defense couldn’t find any flaw in Manning’s game that day as his quarterback rating was 138.
Hitting 24 out of his 33 targets, Manning threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns. This game gave the Giants life in the playoffs that would lead Manning to his second ring. Manning started off with a bang as he tossed 74 yard bomb to Cruz in the first quarter to jump out 7-0.
In the second quarter and leading 14-0, Manning found an open Ahmad Bradshaw for a 10 yard touchdown pass which extended their lead 21-0. The Cowboys had trouble with Giants’ defense as well as they only scored 14. With a 24-14 lead and under five minutes remaining, Manning and Co. made sure there was no chance of a Cowboy comeback when he saw a four yard opening for receiver Hakeem Nicks.
