2. Tom Coughlin
Tom Coughlin in my opinion is the 2nd best coach in team history, which if you read this about 3 years into his stint with New York you would be baffled that he even made this list. To say Coughlin’s time with Big Blue has been a roller coaster ride would be an understatement.
Just when you think his days are numbered, him and his team some how pullout a miraculous run to not only make the playoffs, but bring home a championship. Nobody can quite understand why his team’s are so hit and miss, but can you really argue with what he’s accomplished heading into his 12th season with the team?
Two world championships, four NFC East titles, and five trips to the postseason make up a pretty strong resume for coach Coughlin. One in which many believe is hall of fame worthy considering his prior success jump starting the Jacksonville Jaguars. Coaches and quarterbacks always seem to be grouped together, and Coughlin and Eli Manning make one of the better combinations of the past decade. When Coughlin’s career is over, he will surely be right at the top of the heap in team lore.
