The Return Of Victor Cruz:

Overview: Cruz is attempting to come back from a devastating knee injury and according to multiple reports he isn’t back to 100 percent yet. When healthy he is a dynamic playmaker. Will he be the same great player in 2015?

Best Case Scenario: In the best case scenario, Cruz is back and better than ever. He has the same explosiveness out of his stance, he has the same vertical ability and he puts up big time numbers. With a healthy Cruz back the offense can really take off. The Giants have two playmaking wide receivers that the defense has to worry about on every play. Playing against the Giants will become a game of pick your poison. With Cruz back in the offensive lineup the offense will be potentially unstoppable.

Worst Case Scenario: The worst thing that could happen is bringing Cruz back before he is ready. If the Giants do that and he gets hurt again, the Giants will regret it forever. The Giants don’t want a situation like the Baltimore Ravens have with Dennis Pitta. Pitta came back to the Ravens lineup in 2014 after a severe hip fracture in 2013. Early in the 2014 season he reinjured his hip and the Ravens are unsure if he will ever be the same again but have guaranteed money going in Pitta’s pocket anyway. The Giants don’t want this to happen with Cruz. The worst thing that can happen with an injury as severe as Cruz’s is getting hurt all over again.
