New York Giants: Top 10 All Time WR
9. Hakeem Nicks
It might be a shock to some to see Hakeem Nicks on this list, but believe it or not he deserves it. Nicks made an instant impact from the moment when the Giants drafted him. He was also a huge part of the Giants’ Super Bowl run in 2011. Up until his final year with the team, Nicks was a huge contributor on the Giants’ offense. He made some of the most memorable plays in Giants’ history. No Giant fan will ever forget the “Hail Mary” pass Eli Manning threw to Nicks against the Green Bay Packers in the 2011 playoffs.
In his career with the Giants, Nicks averaged 4,622 yards and 27 touchdowns. He did this over five years with the Giants. That is pretty impressive for a player who was competing with Victor Cruz for receptions. Nicks deserves to be placed on this list because of all he gave for the franchise even though he ended on bad terms with the team. His glory years seemed to have ended in more recent days, but no one will forget his tenure with the Giants.
