The New York Giants have a franchise quarterback that has taken the team to the promise land twice. The Giants have two of the most exciting receivers in football, Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz. The Giants have a tight end that could be on his way to being the next big thing in Larry Donnell. The Giants have one of the premier pass rushers in the NFL in Jason Pierre-Paul and when healthy, John Beason is a dominant linebacker. The point is that the New York Football Giants have the kind of talent that makes the promise of a new season so exciting.
The Giants faithful have had it pretty good from a historical perspective. The Giants have won four Super Bowls including in 2007 and 2011. Before the Super Bowl even existed the Giants won four championships. So its tough to sit here and say that we have it rough as Giants fans. I mean look at teams like the Cleveland Browns and the Oakland Raiders, they have rich history but have been awful for a painfully long time. There are surely fan bases that have it rougher than the Giants. I mean look at the Buffalo Bills, a team that has lost as many Super Bowls as the Giants have won. That being said the Giants fans deserve better than they have gotten in the past couple of seasons.
The Giants have the kind of talent that allows you to send a statement to the rest of the league. They have the kind of talent that can send shock waves through the NFL. The time is now. The time is now because the sour taste of defeat is one that stays with you. The time is now because the tough seasons the Giants fans have endured will only make Super Bowl glory that much sweeter. Now I’m not saying the Giants have to win the Super Bowl this season. What I am saying is that they have to go for it. They absolutely must show the NFL that the Giants are a franchise that will simply not be held down. We are the Giants, and here are 5 ways the Giants can make a gigantic statement in the 2015 season.
