There are some that aren’t enamored with Larry Donnell, but I am not one of those people. I see Donnell as a young and blooming star with plenty of untapped potential. We have already seen what Donnell is capable of. He is 6-6 with the speed that makes him a mismatch against linebackers and the size to beat defensive backs. Potential is something Donnell has plenty of.

In the 2014 season the tight end came out of practically nowhere. In just his second season out of Grambling State, he was given a chance to be the Giants starting tight end. Everyone knew Donnell’s name by week 4 because he put on quite a show. Against the Washington Redskins in a prime time game, Donnell caught seven passes, three of which were touchdown receptions. Fantasy football players rushed to get him on their team, the true sign that you have arrived as an NFL football player.

The 2015 season is here and it is time for Donnell to cash in on that amazing potential that he has. With the prototypical size and attributes for an NFL tight end, Donnell has to step his game up to the next level. Here are three big things about Larry Donnell as we prepare for the 2015 season to begin.
