2. He Had A Pretty Good 2014 Season

So far I have rambled on about his potential, now lets talk about what Donnell has already accomplished. I know it was inconsistent but it was a pretty good 2014 season. It was surely more than we could have expected from the inexperienced tight end. Donnell was at times completely unstoppable last year. That doesn’t just happen by accident.

Donnell had 63 receptions for 623 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2014. He averaged 9.9. yards per reception. Donnell had 4 or more receptions in 10 games. In three games Donnell got seven receptions. Donnell gave Manning a reliable target in the middle of the field. Manning had somebody he could throw the ball up to and trust that he could jump up and get it.

This was a pretty good performance by Donnell. Donnell was a very solid player for the Giants last season. A reliable tight end has great value in this day and age of football. Donnell was very valuable to the Giants last season.
