It is never to early to make predictions for the 2015 NFL playoffs. Today we focus on the NFC playoffs because that is what the New York Giants are gunning for this season. There are two routes to playoff football; you either win your division or you earn a wild card spot. With six playoff seeds up for grabs, I’m going to tell you which teams will be invited to chase the Lombardi Trophy.

The playoffs have been all too elusive for the Giants in the past three seasons. The last time the Giants went to the playoffs was in 2011, when they beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. The 2011 run was truly a magical time. They dominated the Atlanta Falcons, smashed the heavily favored Green Bay Packers, squeaked by the San Francisco 49ers in overtime of the NFC Championship game on their path to Super Bowl glory. That may have been the most rewarding time to be a fan of the New York Football Giants as they put on an incredible performance every week until they reached the ultimate goal.

The Giants now hope to get back to the NFC playoffs in their 2015 campaign. When you’re competing for a playoff seed there are a lot of factors, many which you cannot control. Every year it seems that there is a strong team that didn’t quite do enough to get in to the postseason. The NFC has never looked so competitive so the Giants best route to January football is by winning the NFC East crown. That will not be an easy task however as many see the Dallas Cowboys as Super Bowl contenders. Will the Giants win their division? Will they earn a wild card seed or will they fall short once again? I am going to tell you who will be in the playoffs and why they will be there.
