4. Carolina Panthers: 9-7
The NFC South isn’t a great division and that is why the Panthers 9-7 record will be enough to win them the fourth seed in the NFC Playoffs. The Panthers made the post season last season despite only winning 6 games in the regular season, which just shows you how bad their division was. There seems to be a toughness and a feistiness to this Panthers team under head coach Ron Rivera. The Panthers may have limped into the playoffs with a weak record, but it started to click in the end of the season. They beat the Arizona Cardinals in the first round of the playoffs.
The NFC South will be a bit improved this season. The Falcons and the Saints though still have problems on the defensive side of the football. The Buccaneers may be the most talented team but I think Jameis Winston will go through some growing pains in his first season. Give me the Panthers to grind out tough games against their division foes to win the NFC South.
Cam Newton will have the best year of his career and Devin Funchess, Greg Olsen and Kelvin Benjamin will be a strong receiving arsenal for the Panthers version of Superman. The Panthers have their problems, especially on the offensive line but they will have a fairly strong year.
