One of the reasons that we get so excited about a new season is that we really don’t know what will happen. There is a brand new hope and a rekindled optimism. Anything can happen in the NFL. That’s why we make predictions like bunnies make babies. As sports fans we always want to know what could happen. We want someone to validate this resurgent optimism that resides in our hearts. Thinking of the future is always more fun than the past because we get to dream up incredible scenarios that could happen.

The truth is though that while we don’t know what will happen in the New York Giants’ 2015 season, there is an awful lot that we do know. We already know what the team’s strengths and weaknesses are for example. We also know what happened last season and we know how the team changed in the offseason.

While we cannot predict the way the ball will bounce in a given game or what the season’s results will be we have a pretty good idea about what kind of team the Giants will be this year. We understand how this team plans on attacking their opponents. We know the cast of characters that make up the unscripted show that is Giants football. The point is there are a lot of things that we do know. Today we focus on the 3 things we can count on in the 2015 NFL season for the Giants.
