5. Washington Redskins

The Washington Redskins are coming into 2015 as a very improved team on both sides of the ball. They addressed many needs this offseason and acquired many draft picks as well. However, just because they acquired a lot of talent doesn’t mean that they will have an effective presence in the NFC this upcoming season. There are still a lot of issues that need to be worked out.

As much as the Redskins say that Robert Griffin is their starting quarterback, I don’t buy into it. Griffin has been nothing but trouble for this organization. There have been multiple reports that the other players don’t enjoy working with him. How can a team be successful if the team’s leader can’t be counted on?

With Brandon Scherff on the offensive line, I’m sure Griffin will have a chance to make some big plays. He needs a lot of protection and time to be able to be effective. The offensive line is good enough to be able to win the team some games, but they aren’t getting much farther than that. The Griffin of the past is gone and Dan Snyder might want to draft a new leader for the franchise.

Jay Gruden isn’t happy with the way things are either. Snyder seemed to pick the wrong man for the job. Gruden could be a successful coach, but the environment he was put into is too hectic for any coach. It’s best this organization starts off fresh and cleans house very soon.

Prediction: 5-11
