2. New York Giants

The New York Giants are one of the sleeper teams of the 2015 NFL season. They have a start-studded offense just waiting to break onto the scene. Eli Manning will have a tandem of three very talented wide receivers to throw to. Victor Cruz, Odell Beckham and Rueben Randle would be a nightmare for any defense.

The Giants are going into the second year in Ben McAdoo’s offense. In 2014, the Giants showed plenty of signs of struggling, but when the kinks were worked out, their offense seemed unstoppable. They were one of the top offenses in points scored in 2014, despite having a 6-10 record. Add Shane Vereen’s versatility to the mix and you have a very dangerous team.

One issue that will be a threat to the Giants’ season is their defense. Their defense will be the Achilles’ heal to this team. The Giants managed to add some youth to the defensive roster and address multiple positions, but have a lot of inexperienced players in starting roles. Their goal is to have Steve Spagnuolo mold these young players into hard-hitting machines.

I’m very confident that Spagnuolo will manage to vastly improve the Giants’ pass rush. The Giants have some key pieces set in place that Spagnuolo could use to really turn things around. The Giants defense is either going to be a major success or a major dud. If the Giants defense manages to hold it together, the Giants could easily be a contender in 2015.

Prediction: 10-6
