Rueben Randle:
You can’t say enough about the production that Randle stepped up and delivered while Cruz was sidelined last season. Randle had 71 receptions for 938 yards and 3 touchdowns. It was a wild improvement in terms of receptions from his 2013 season in which he has only 41 receptions (though he did have 6 touchdowns). Randle was given an increased role in the offense last season and now he looks to be another elite weapon for Manning and company in the 2015 season.
Randle was the Giants 2012 second round draft pick. From LSU, the same school of Beckham Jr., Randle was expected to be a star for the Giants. While Randle panned out better than many second round picks do Randle isn’t without his fair share of critics. Giants fans want to see him step up and become another unstoppable weapon for the offense.
Randle is a quick receiver with a 6-2 208 pound frame that many defensive backs have trouble with. Randle is a go-getter he does everything he can to bring in the football. Randle became a much more consistent player last season and this season may be the time he steps up to the next level.
