Getting Everyone Involved:

It is no secret that Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz are the Giants biggest playmakers. The Giants however cannot lean to much on any one player. The offense must remain unpredictable and dynamic. The offense must spread the ball around to each receiving option. Surely Beckham Jr. is Manning’s go to target but the Giants have to get everyone involved to keep the defense honest.

Having a great group of playmakers helps the individual playmakers. The better Beckham Jr. does the more opportunities it creates for Cruz. The better Cruz does the better Larry Donnell and Rueben Randle will do. By spreading the ball around the defense cannot focus on stopping just one player. There is no defense to a perfect throw so if Manning delivers, the offense is going to put up big time numbers.

The Giants also need to have some balance and run the football. They can’t just let the defense rush Manning relentlessly. Just like getting other receivers involved other than your superstar keeps the defense honest, so does running the football. When the offense gets everyone involved they have an answer for anything the defense tries to throw at them. That’s a way to dominate.
