The New York Giants offensive line has been under a lot of scrutiny over the past few years. In 2013 the line was in absolute shambles and Eli Manning had his worst career season. Last year the line was greatly improved however it still had its problems. Eli Manning had a much better season as the line play improved. The Giants running game was also better. This year the Giants look to make more improvements. The Giants lost Will Beatty already to a torn pectoral muscle. The Giants drafted Ereck Flowers in the first round of the NFL draft. Since the Beatty injury the Giants have decided not to make any moves and hope to stay afloat until Beatty can return.

The Giants think they have the team to make a playoff push in 2015. The Giants need good play from everyone but the line will be a big part of the team. The Giants have one of the top offensive units on paper in all of football. Of course the key to that will be how good Eli Manning plays this season. If he gets protection like last year he will have another very good year.

The Giants have designed their new offense to get the ball out more quickly and more efficiently. However the Giants will still look for the offensive line to do their job. In 2014 Manning was sacked 28 times which was a big upgrade from the 39 the year before. The Giants will rely on some new faces in 2015 but will also look to some familiar faces as well.
