Ereck Flowers

The Giants invested high in Ereck Flowers taking him with their first round pick. Many people believed the Giants would take Brandon Scherff with their first pick but when he was selected by the Redskins the Giants jumped on Flowers. Flowers comes out of Miami University.

Flowers is an absolute beast in the run game and the Giants believe he can create the wholes for the run game. Flowers dominates in the run game especially when he has success early. However like any young player Flowers has his problems or areas he needs to improve. Flowers has struggled in times with his pass protection. Flowers is an emotional player who never takes a play off.

Flowers looks like a guy who can fit in nicely on the Giants. He is a big time talent. He is also a guy who pushes himself but never gets too down on himself. Flowers was recently seen working out with both the first and second teams. Flowers seems to be fitting in nicely in New York as he recently got to throw out the first pitch at the New York Mets game.
