Evan Mathis – Guard
Seasons: 9
Drafted: Carolina Panthers in the 3rd round (79th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft
Teams Played For: Carolina Panthers (2005-2007) , Miami Dolphins (2008), Cincinnati Bengals (2008-2010), Philadelphia Eagles (2011-2014)
Pro Bowl: 2013 & 2014
First Team All-Pro: 2013
Despite missing seven games for the hated Eagles last season, Mathis has been playing at an all world level for the past 4 seasons. The addition of this mauler would make it a little easier to forget about the injury to Will Beatty but would most likely re-shuffle the lineup in the offensive trenches once again. With Mathis inserted at guard Geoff Schwartz or recently re-positioned Justin Pugh would kick to the right tackle position and give the Giants a very sturdy unit. They must continue to address the offensive line and this long time foe will be a welcomed addition to any team in the NFL, hopefully his price doesn’t scare off Jerry Reese & Co.
