Justin Blalock – Guard/Center
Seasons: 8
Drafted: Atlanta Falcons in the 2nd round (39th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft
Teams Played For: Atlanta Falcons (2007-2014)
Blalock has only missed 3 games over an 8 year career. Like Mathis his ability as an interior lineman and would upgrade the Giants offensive line. Unlike Mathis, Blalock has missed a total of 3 games over an 8 year career and he has started every game he has ever played in. His durability would help a unit that has been decimated by injuries since 2013 and his experience will go a long way to mentor the younger players developing within the Giant’s system. It’s a wonder why he is still on the market, at the very least I’d throw a contract offer his way, hoping he bites on it and ultimately improves this roster.
