Starting to see a pattern here? An upgrade in the trenches is imperative after the Beatty injury. Long has had a tough go the last 2 years, tearing his ACL twice. Long was one of, if not, the best tackle in football for over half a decade during his time with the Miami Dolphins. He may have tried to comeback a little prematurely from his first ACL tear and that has definitely set him back. Regardless Long has a shot to reclaim his spot as a top NFL lineman and he’ll be at a reduced price after his knee issues. There is a chance his playing days are behind him, if they’re not though he would be a great addition.
