1. Michael Strahan

Strahan may have been the best defensive end ever to play football. He was a first ballot hall of famer that played 15 seasons with the New York Giants. Strahan reinvented several times in his career and his longevity speaks volumes about his greatness.

He has 141.5 sacks to his name. He broke a record in 2001, throwing quarterbacks to the ground 22.5 times. He was a dominant defensive end who was the Giants unquestioned leader. He couldn’t have scripted a better ending to his career as he walked off into the sunset with a Super Bowl win.
