9. Amani Toomer

One of the most consistent wide receivers that I have ever seen, Amani Toomer played for the Giants his entire career. From 1996-2008 Toomer was the model that all Giants receivers had to aspire to be like. Toomer wasn’t always the biggest star on the team but he was always one of the most respected. After losing the Super Bowl just five seasons into his career, it was nice to see him experience the 2007 Super Bowl victory. If there was ever a player who deserved it, Amani Toomer is that man.

Toomer caught 668 receptions in his career. He had 9,497 receiving yards and 54 touchdowns. Toomer’s best statistical season was in 2002, when he caught 82 receptions for 1,343 yards and 8 touchdowns. In his tenure several quarterbacks came and went away. He has caught passes from Danny Kannell, Dave Brown, Kerry Collins, Kurt Warner and Eli Manning. Toomer had a fantastic chemistry with Collins and really helped in the maturation of Manning.

You cannot rewrite Giants history without Toomer. He was a consummate professional and a great player in Giants history.
