7. Chris Snee

Chris Snee is the perfect example of the expression “You don’t know what you got until its gone.” Snee, who happens to be Tom Coughlin’s son in law started 141 games in his 10 year career with the Giants. Snee was a consistent offensive guard that helped protect Manning for many passes and set up many big runs. Snee was the Giants second round draft selection in 2004 and he retired in 2013.

The lasting legacy of former general manager, Ernie Ecorsi is that he built an offensive line that was a key part in the Giants two Super Bowl victories. Snee was a leader on the offensive line that set the bar for everybody else. Snee is a two-time Super Bowl champion, and he appeared in 4 Pro Bowls.

We often talk about the players that benefited from that offensive line like Tiki Barber and Manning but we never give enough credit to guys like Snee who made it all happen with great work in the trenches.
