The New York Giants are looking to go back to the playoffs for the first time since 2011 when they hoisted the Lombardi trophy. Since that glorious time on the NFL mountain top, the Giants have been rather disappointing. The Giants have gone 21-27 since their Super Bowl run. There is a lot of talent on this Giants team, but there is also much to be concerned about. This team didn’t exactly earn the benefit of the doubt in the past three seasons, two of which were absolutely miserable for Giants fans.
The Giants are desperate for a turn around season, as any team would be. The Giants however are one of the great historic franchises in not just the NFL but in professional sports as a whole. The Giants have won four championships in the Super Bowl era and they won 4 championships before it. A franchise that has won 4 Super Bowls is obviously a proud franchise. You have a 16 game season of the most physical sport in America. Every game matters in the NFL, wins are huge and losses can be hard to overcome. Then in the playoffs you get one shot. In hockey, baseball and basketball a team can have a bad day or two, they just need to win four out of seven games. In the NFL Playoffs one bad day eliminates you. The Giants have a long and difficult journey in front of them; here are the 5 burning questions facing the Giants before we even get to training camp.
