Being your go to place for everything about the Giants, we will start in New York. The Giants are coming off a 6-10 season in which they suffered a seven game losing streak. The time is now for the Giants to regain momentum and give their fans something to look forward to. Here are the three things we know about the Giants:

1. As Eli Goes, The Team Goes: There is no secret that the Giants are heavily dependent on Eli Manning to play great football. The team goes as Manning goes. The quick striking offense employed by offensive coordinator, Ben McAdoo relies on sharp quarterback play. That’s why it is so important for Manning to find his rhythm early and often. With great receivers to throw the football to, when Manning is feeling it this team will be hard to stop. The run game will be better but the offense is still very passing oriented. Manning has to throw his way to Giants victories.

2. The Team Is Relying On Inexperienced Players: The Giants are very reliant on their youngest and most inexperienced players at key positions. Ereck Flowers, who the team drafted ninth overall months ago, is pegged to play the all important left tackle position. The strong safety position is Landon Collins’s job to lose. The Giants drafted Collins in the second round. Cooper Taylor or Nat Berhe will most likely fill the free safety position, and neither players have ever been starters in the NFL. The Giants are expecting second year linebacker, Devon Kennard, to be a star for the defense. The big worry for the Giants is that they are relying on a group of players with little to no experience.

3. Steve Spagnuolo Is Back, And You Know What That Means: The Giants have reunited with defensive coordinator, Steve Spagnuolo. Spagnuolo has a reputation for getting the most out of his pass rushers in a 4-3 defense. With no shortage of players who can rush the passer, the Giants are hoping to fix their defensive problems by hiding them with great pass rush. We don’t know how the Giants defense will fair, but we know that the unit will play hard nosed and aggressively.
