Talking About The Draft:

CS: What grade would you give the Eagles in the draft?

AB: B-

Kelly did a solid job in the first draft in which he had full control of all the picks but he made one major mistake. That was failing to address the offensive line. But they got caught behind a couple of runs on guys they were likely targeting and that hurt them.

Yet he made up for it by addressing two of the team’s biggest needs. He addressed wide receiver with Nelson Agholor in the first round. Then he added some depth to the secondary with Eric Rowe, JaCorey Shepherd and Randall Evans throughout the rest of the draft. All in all, a solid class. Although the Jordan Hicks’ pick still confuses me.
