5. Odell Beckham

Odell Beckham is one of the more obvious choices. In my head, you can’t go wrong with him at all. Whether it be a hamstring, a sophomore slump, or even the Madden curse, I don’t think anything will stop Beckham from catching passes. Injury isn’t much of a concern because last year he apparently played with injuries to both hamstrings.

If he played the way he did injured last year, just imagine what he could do healthy? The offensive rookie of the year is just way too good of a prospect to pass up. Even if he comes in as your first pick in a draft, don’t be that guy who passes the fantasy player of the year up.

Most people like to take a running back first, but if you have a sixth or seventh pick it may not be worth the choice. A couple if names I would take Beckham over would be Arian Foster, DeMarco Murray, and even LeSean McCoy. Beckham single-handedly won fantasy seasons for some of his owners in 2014.

Things are only getting better for the Giants’ offense at this point. Defenses are going to be focused on containing Beckham, but that didn’t seem to stop him in the later half of the 2014 season. Even Richard Sherman said that Beckham is, “ The real deal.”
