Week 8 @ New Orleans Saints: Loss

I’m torn on this one. I think the Saints are in a rebuilding mode. They did not play well at home last season. Drew Brees throws a ton of picks and no one ever seems to notice it. However I don’t know if I can say I think Sean Payton and Drew Brees are done in the big easy. The last few times the Giants have traveled to the murder dome it has not been pretty. Every team throws in a stinker at least once a season and I think this is it for New York. The Saints are playing in a week division and have an opportunity to get right back into the playoffs with potentially 9 games. New Orleans’ looks to be heading towards more of a run centric offense and if they are successful in doing that they can be very dangerous again. I think the speed of the receivers and the balanced attack keeps the Giants pass rush at back and gives Drew Brees enough time to throw it around. Saints win by two scores. The Giants are now 6-2.
