Jason Pierre-Paul unlikely to sign 1-year, $14.8M tender until healthy by Ed Werder (ESPN)
"It’s unlikely Pierre-Paul would refuse to sign the tender and sit out the season. If so, however, he would become an unrestricted free agent and the Giants would maintain exclusive rights to sign him until the first day of the 2016 league year. The Giants also could put the franchise tag on him again for 2016."

It was the 20th annual throwing festival on the banks of Bayou Lafourche, but Manning’s mind was on his team’s defense and Pierre-Paul’s health, too."

"Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where injured Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul had his right index finger amputated on Wednesday, has launched an “aggressive” probe over the 26-year-old’s leaked medical chart, a photo of which was shared on Twitter and on television by ESPN."
Disclosure of injury information continues to put NFL players in a delicate spot by Mike Florio (Pro Football Talk NBC Sports)
"The balance became more complicated this week, when ESPN’s Adam Schefter not only reported that Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was having a finger amputated but also posted on Twitter an image of the medical record. As noted by Bernie Augustine of the New York Daily News, multiple players reacted negatively to the release of a player’s medical records."
