1. Giants vs. Redskins – Week 3

Yes, it’s the Redskins. Yes, it’s only week three. But it’s the Redskins. And it’s Week 3—and those two factors are very important.

The Giants need to win at least one of their first three games: there’s a big difference between starting 1-2 and 0-3—the climb to just a .500 record becomes that much tougher. This is their best chance at winning in the early part of the season.

Remember: the Giants face Dallas and Atlanta in the first two weeks of the season—two teams that I think are on the rise entering the season. All it takes is one bad game from Eli or a couple bad plays and the Giants are 0-2. And if they were to lose this game too, their season could really tumble.
