Hankins quietly had an excellent 2014 season. 7 sacks and played strong run defense at the end of last year when the team started to improve (slightly) in that department.
Unlike Ayers, Hankins is going to be an every-down player for Spagnuolo. With Cullen Jenkins lining up next to him, the Giants aren’t exactly deep at the defensive tackle position. The Giants will rely on this guy, and I expect his 2015 campaign to be a good one.
Hankins could be one of the Giants biggest defensive stars this season. He has a skill set that is hard to deal with for any offensive lineman.
