Damontre Moore
Expectations are high for Moore this season. He had 5.5 sacks last season in a limited role, and I think the Giants expect him to take a step forward this year. He’s got a powerful motor, and he’s very light at 255 pounds.
He’ll probably continued to be featured as a rotational pass rusher on Spags’ defense, but I expect his sack numbers to increase as the season progresses. Double digit sacks aren’t out of reach for a guy with his speed and power combo.
Moore is expected to play a larger role in the Giants defense this season. It is easy to forget how young this talented defensive end is. He could end up being a superstar and this could be his break out season.
