Hey, remember this guy? Adding an injury-prone running back to a corps of running backs who are injury-prone might not be the smartest idea, but in a limited role I think Bradshaw could help this team should Jennings or Vereen miss time. He’s an excellent pass blocker, and he offers a threat out of the backfield when the Giants decide to spread it out.

Bradshaw’s best days are certainly in the rearview mirror, but it doesn’t mean he can’t give a team some help with his unique skill set. And it’d be kind of cool to see him wearing Giant blue again.

It seems like a reunion between Bradshaw and the Giants would be mutually beneficial. This is something the Giants don’t need at the moment but an injury or two could change that.

The Syracuse grad and Connecticut native has been linked to the Giants before. When he left the Colts in free agency, in 2013, some thought the Giants were a possible destination. But he chose San Diego, and it looked like he lost a couple steps when he moved to his new team.

He probably did, but he could still be an effective pass rusher in situational roles, and with the Giants lack of experienced depth behind Jason Pierre-Paul, they could end up giving Freeney a call if someone goes down.

It couldn’t hurt to bring in somebody who has such a proven ability to get to the passer.
